GAGA garden renewals are now open for registration to all returning members.
As a result of the continued COVID pandemic and in the interests of public safety – we have already made the decision to cancel our annual registration night typically scheduled for mid March.
Instead, online and paper registrations are now being accepted following the approval of our 2021 budget at the March 2 AGM.
If you do not wish to garden this year due to COVID, we are again allowing gardeners to back out of their plot for 2021 but reserve it for 2022. Please email the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org to indicate your desire to not garden this year and your plot will be made available to another gardener for this year only.
New member registrations will open to those on our waiting list after March 31st.
Our initial roll out of online registration last year was wildly successful as 73% of you chose that renewal option. We encourage even more of you to try it out!
If you’d like to take advantage of this convenience to renew your garden plots for the 2021 season – please click here to renew online. The process will take about three minutes and will require you to know your plot number(s) from last year.
The process is the same as last year with one revision. We anticipate COVID restrictions will still be in place this year and have amended the online renewal to include a COVID acceptance form similar to last season. We will notify all gardeners if modifications are made to those rules.
Registering a garden plot requires acceptance of the COVID restrictions.
For those members unable or uncomfortable with an online renewal, we are accepting traditional paper registrations and payment by cheque or cash. Those forms can be found below and on our website
- Fill in the membership form fully.
- Print and sign indicating you have read and agree to the garden rules.
- Mail the completed application form with payment to the Registrar:

- A COVID agreement will be emailed to you to complete the registration. Registering a garden plot requires acceptance of the COVID restrictions.
We do accept cash payment but for administration purposes would encourage payment by cheque.
If you are not planning to renew your garden for any reason – please let us know so we can make it available to a new member. We have a full waiting list of new gardeners who will happily put the plot to good use.
