Grass Cutting Services Needed

The Gloucester Allotment Garden Association (GAGA) is seeking a contractor to provide grass cutting services to its two garden sites housing 385 garden plots during its upcoming gardening season April to October. Sites are located behind Orient Park Drive in Blackburn Hamlet and off Weir Rd north of the roundabout at Anderson Road. AGM & Garden Registration date set!

The Gloucester Allotment Garden Association annual general meeting and registration for the 2020 gardening season will take place 7:30pm on Tuesday March 24th 2020 in the cafeteria of the Louis Riel High School located near the dome in Blackburn Hamlet. The AGM will take place first with a quick update on the past year’s gardening activities followed by registration for the new gardening season. Current gardeners in good standing have the opportunity to renew their gardens and the remaining plots will be open to new registrants. Garden cleanup thanks

Thanks to everyone who came out to help with the fall cleanup at the Orient Park Gardens Saturday October 19. We had over 30 volunteers and were done in under three hours! During the clean up many items were removed from plots and placed in a garbage pile for the city to collect (located in the middle garden area). Please remember that plots are required to be cleaned the Friday evening before the clean-up. GAGA cannot be held responsible for any items that needed to be removed during the Fall cleanup.
